BenefitPay payments are now available in MySociety
Donors and members can now pay through BenefitPay on your society’s online services. Contact us to activate it for your society.

The Golden Hat team is pleased to announce that BenefitPay is now available as an online payment method in MySociety, alongside the existing card and debit gateways.
What the service offers
- Pay donations, zakat, kafarat and membership fees with BenefitPay from the society’s online services.
- All payment methods are shown together in one clear window, and the donor picks the one that suits them.
- Clear messages in Arabic and English when a payment is cancelled or not completed.
- Payments are recorded in the system automatically, and pending payments are checked again every hour so none is missed.
BenefitPay arrived in MySociety 21.0.
How to activate it
BenefitPay is activated for each society separately and needs an agreement between the society and its bank. To start, contact us: we will explain the steps with the bank, the details you need to request, and then set up and test the service on your system.
